My name is Alice, a second year Master student at the Rare Books & Digital Humanities Master in Besançon, France. My current research focus is on the beast of Gévaudan in the context of the Recueil factice transcribed by Magné de Marolles in the second half of the 18th century, stored at the Bibliothèque Nationale de France. I have a background in Art History, having studied it for four years abroad (three in the Netherlands and one in Ireland), but after coming home during the tumultuous period of COVID-19, I wanted to branch out in my studies. This website serves as an online repository of everything to do with my final Master thesis on the beast of Gévaudan.
